The architectural composition of the two residences emerges from the interplay between the distinctive geometry of the elongated plot and the desire for an uninterrupted relationship with the sea. The length of the site, together with its direct extension to the shoreline, determines the linear arrangement of the volumes and their orientation towards the seascape, shaping two residences that develop in parallel, in direct dialogue with one another and with the natural environment.

The two residences are organized vertically, while their relative displacement and the gradual recession of one volume in relation to the other create a composition with distinct spatial identities. The interplay between solid and void, the creation of semi-outdoor spaces, and the carefully controlled visual connections between the volumes ensure privacy without compromising their compositional unity.

Within each residence, two courtyards introduce natural light and vegetation into the deeper areas of the floor plan. They create intimate spaces of tranquillity, enhancing spatial permeability and strengthening the connection between the living environment and nature. At the same time, they allow natural light to transform the atmosphere of the interiors throughout the day.

Two distinct pathways, originating on either side of the swimming pool and converging further down in the garden, follow the natural topography of the site and gradually connect the residences to the beach and the public realm. In this way, the change in elevation becomes an integral part of the spatial experience, orchestrating the transition from private living to the surrounding natural landscape.

The project establishes an architectural condition of parallel living, in which proximity does not imply shared living, and autonomy does not require isolation. The two residences coexist through their form, outdoor spaces, and shared orientation towards the horizon, while preserving their own rhythm and independent everyday life.
