The residence is located in the mountainous part of Patras, in a position that offers panoramic views towards the city and the Gulf of Patras. The primary design objective was the harmonious integration of the building into the natural landscape, characterized by its lush vegetation.

The architectural composition is structured around the dynamic interplay of geometric volumes that articulate the building. Two principal volumes, stacked and differentiated through materiality, together with the projecting linear elements and the configuration of the outdoor spaces, articulate the design intent. These elements act as a bridge between the built and the unbuilt, the geometric and the organic, the timeless and the contemporary.

Materiality reinforces the gradual and balanced integration of the residence into the landscape. The lower volume, clad in natural stone masonry, conveys a sense of gravity, permanence, and connection with the ground, functioning almost as a continuation of the terrain. In contrast, the upper volume, defined by smooth surfaces in earthy, warm tones, imparts lightness and purity, enhancing the geometric abstraction of the form. The tension between the two volumes is both mitigated and accentuated through elongated horizontal elements and structural walls, emphasizing the stratification of the composition.

The overall expression reflects a contemporary architecture—morphologically rigorous yet materially and spatially sensitive—where geometry, materiality, and landscape coexist in absolute harmony, collectively preserving their integrity and character.
